Today, I joined hundreds of women, femmes, and allies at the International Women’s Strike to protest racism, misogyny, and social and economic inequality. The event was part of a global Day of Intersectional Feminist Action to celebrate International Women’s Day.
We have a misogynist in the White House, and women around the country responded by signing up to run for office or volunteering with political organizations. It’s an honor to be among these incredible women who are working to change the system by getting elected and getting involved.
